BrainTwo

Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 November 2026

Who We Are

BrainTwo is a personal knowledge app. It keeps your notes and turns the messages you send it into notes. BrainTwo is changing its name to Remn, and this policy applies under both names.

BrainTwo is run in the United Kingdom. To ask about your data, email [email protected].

What We Keep

How We Use It

We use your data only to give you the service you signed up for: to store your notes, sign you in, turn your captures into notes, reply to your WhatsApp messages and keep the service secure. UK data protection law allows this because it is needed to provide the service to you, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

We do not sell your data. We do not show advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Services We Use

Some of these services can process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, they use the safeguards that UK data protection law requires.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your content until you delete it, or until you delete your account. Delete Account, in the app's settings, deletes your account, your notes and your sign-in. Our encrypted backups keep a copy for up to 60 days, and then delete it. Server logs are kept for up to three months.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a form another service can read. You can also object to how we use it. Email [email protected], and we will answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

BrainTwo is not for children under 13.
